Reverse alchemy

There was an article on EDN about a venture capitalist who has published details of the many approaches they had in the past -that they turned down - from companies who are now amazingly successful.

They have had their successes (skype, verisign, PA Semi etc), but they also had a few howlers, including turning down fed-ex 7 times, and passing on google when they were starting up (you'll get a kick out of the quote).
